Suncity Paradise :
Transforming a Society into a Smart Waste Model
Zero Waste Living Begins at Home: How Suncity Paradise Turned 100% of Daily Wet Waste into Green Gold

The Before Situation
Before Samkiti’s intervention, Suncity Paradise, a large-scale residential township of 380 bungalows, was struggling with the growing crisis of unmanaged waste. Despite modern amenities, the society lacked a sustainable, in-house system to handle its daily wet waste. Complaints were frequent, and the risks of municipal penalties loomed large. It became clear that the society needed more than quick fixes—they needed a complete mindset and infrastructure shift.
Key Challenges:
No source segregation of waste, leading to unhygienic mixed dumping and overflow
Rising disposal costs with zero value recovery or compost reuse
Daily complaints from residents regarding smell, spills, and irregular pickups
Untrained staff and no standard process to manage or monitor waste handling

The Journey
The transformation of Suncity Paradise from a reactive waste disposal system to a structured, in-house composting model was both swift and strategic. Samkiti began by conducting an in-depth site audit, identifying the core operational gaps and community-level pain points. To build trust and clarity, the society committee was invited to live demo sites, where they witnessed fully automatic composting systems operating with minimal manpower and zero odor.A tailored proposal, complete with ROI projections and future-ready SOPs, was presented and quickly approved. Installation of the composting machine and garden waste shredder was completed in just 10 days.
Simultaneously, Samkiti launched an onboarding program to train ground staff and rolled out a resident awareness campaign to ensure long-term adoption. What followed was a seamless transition—driven by transparency, community participation, and a shared vision of zero-waste living.
